I'm Aadarsh Bohara, Associate Director of Product Management at S&P Global. I run the product organization behind the company's customer identity platform: 22 people across three global teams, roughly 4 million users, 42,000 licenses, and 150+ product lines, with over $2B in revenue riding on it.
I got here by building. Four companies founded, one exit, and fifteen years in technology across two continents, from bootstrapped startups to the City of Calgary to a Fortune 500-scale enterprise. Most product leaders drift away from the build over time. I went the other way: I still write production code most nights, and MindBacklog, my current side venture, is a full AI product I designed, coded, and run in market on my own.
The through-line in all of it is simple. I find the part of a job that a person is only doing because nobody built the thing yet, and I build the thing. A support queue answering the same question for the four-hundredth time became a RAG assistant. A specialist assembling entitlements by hand for five hours became an agent that drafts the whole setup for their approval.
